Anddddd it’s officially Fall. It’s mind-blowing how fast it happens, the change from summer to autumn. The temperature is plummeting and the trees are filled with deep red and yellows. Everything seems to be growing tired and slowing down, myself included. But I’ve been trying to fight off the fatigue and do as much as I can. This time of year always brings this fear-of-missing-out feeling. The temporariness of the fall season is intimidating, and I always feel like I’m not taking advantage of it as much as I should be.
It seems that this past week was the final one for t-shirt weather. As the temperature falls my enthusiasm for the new boat grows stronger (it has a HEATED cabin- how luxurious). Very soon it will be floating in the water and we will be working aboard it. I’m looking forward to the change, especially for the project I have going on here. When you work within such a small space for an extended period of time, such as a boat, keeping the fresh ideas and perspectives flowing can be challenging. I’m hoping the new boat brings some new inspiration my way.
